The Board of Education is pleased to advise that they have appointed Mr. Glenn Goslin as Superintendent of Schools, effective August 1, 2026.

Glenn is currently the District Principal in School District No. 6 with portfolios that have included early learning, inclusive education and literacy learning. With more than 25 years of experience in education and educational leadership across a broad range of settings, Glenn understands both the unique challenges and the tremendous strengths that define education in small, tight knit communities.

Glenn has a Master of Educational Technology degree from the University of British Columbia, and a Bachelor of Education from the University of Calgary. He also holds a Bachelor of Environmental Science from the University of Guelph. Glenn is married to Tara, who is also an educator currently in Rocky Mountain School District. He has three children, two of whom are school aged and will be transferring into schools here in Revelstoke. The family is excited by the move for many reasons, both professionally and personally. They enjoy many outdoor activities such as skiing, swimming, canoeing and hiking. The girls enjoy artistic endeavours with one enjoying musical theatre and acting, and the other pottery and crafting. Revelstoke is really a place where the whole family will thrive.

Alan Chell, Board Chair, reiterated that hiring a Superintendent is one of the most critical responsibilities of the Board of Education. “On behalf of the Board of Education, we are very much looking forward to the leadership that Glenn will provide our District and welcome Glenn and his family to our community. His proven ability to collaborate and his record of strong, positive relationships with staff, partners and the community will serve the district well.”

The Board of Education extends its sincere appreciation to the staff, administrators, partners and the Indigenous Education Council who provided insights into the recruitment process, including building the candidate profile and participating in candidate interviews. The Board valued the input provided and thanks each participant for their time and thoughtful contributions.
